    A military general in the state of Wei, and a distant cousin of Cao Cao.
    He lost his left eye when he was hit by a stray arrow during a battle against Lu Bu. He exclaimed, "The essence of my father and the blood of my mother. Can't waste it!" He then swallowed his eyeball. He aided Cao Cao in most of his military campaigns across the country and was widely known for his loyalty and valor. One of Cao Cao's most trusted generals, he served as the warlord's right hand.

    Versed in both polite letters and martial arts, he wrote many war journals, poems and verses. He climbed in ranks when the Yellow Turban Rebellion broke out. China fell into civil war after Dong Zhuo's death. He went on to unify the Central Plains and laid the foundations for what was to become the state of Cao Wei.

    He fought in several wars against Wei's rival state Shu Han. Even Zhuge Liang was wary of him. His best known victory was at the Battle of Jieting, in which he defeated the Shu general Ma Su. He was named as one of the Five Good Generals of Wei.

    A general of Wei. Formerly a subordinate of Lu Bu, he fought many battles under the warlord's banner.
    After Lu Bu's death, he surrendered to Cao Cao, who appreciated his ability. He is best known for his pivotal role in defending Hefei with only thousands of troops from the warlord Sun Quan's large army of 100,000. The terrible slaughter at this battle put such fear into the minds of the people that the name of Zhang Liao kept the very children quiet at night. He was named as the head of the Five Elite Generals of Wei.

    A Wei general, a cousin of Xiahou Dun.
    When Cao Cao was raising an army, Xiahou Yuan joined the warlord and fought in most of his early campaigns. An expert archer and horseman, he was known for his valiance and prowess in battle and held important positions throughout his career. Specialized in sudden attack and surprise raid, he once routed the mighty general Ma Chao. His meritorious military service was illustrious, glowing with exploits.

    A Wei general and a stalwart man with great strength. He served as Cao Cao's personal guard and accompanied the warlord everywhere he went.
    During Zhang Xiu's night raid in Wancheng, he held the outnumbering enemy forces back and died covering Cao Cao's escape. Known for being a loyal, prudent and responsible man, he was praised as Elai of ancient times.

    A general of Wei, big and strong, over eight feet tall with a broad waist. Cao Cao's personal guard on par with Dian Wei. Simple minded and honest, yet fierce like a tiger on the battlefield, he was nicknamed "Tiger Fool" by his men.

    The second son of Cao Cao, the first emperor of the state of Cao Wei, an able ruler and commander and also an accomplished poet and scholar.
    After Cao Cao's death, he succeeded him as the new King of Wei and seized the power. He later forced Emperor Xian to abdicate in his favour, after which he proclaimed himself emperor and established the state of Cao Wei.

    An advisor to the warlord Cao Cao, highly trusted for his brilliance and foresight. His strategies were instrumental to Cao Cao's triumphs, which earned him the nickname Divine Aide. He contributed greatly to Cao Cao's victories over rival warlords Lu Bu and Yuan Shao and the reunification of the north, during which he fell ill and died not long after at the age of 38.
    It is said that after his defeat at the Battle of Red Cliffs, Cao Cao sighed, "If Guo Jia was around, I wouldn't have ended up like this."

    A Wei general and younger cousin of Cao Cao. A man of good faith, virtue and patriotism, he was a very able warrior well versed in different forms of martial arts. After the Battle of Red Cliffs, he was left to guard Jingzhou. Cao Ren and his troops were completely isolated inside Fancheng when the city was besieged by Guan Yu's forces. Cao Ren encouraged his men to fight to the death and they eventually broke the siege. Deeply trusted by Cao Cao, he was appointed as the Grand Marshal when Cao Pi ascended the throne.

    A general of the state of Cao Wei. A former subordinate of Yang Feng, he later heeded Man Chong's advice and submitted to Cao Cao.
    Intelligent and courageous, he fought in many campaigns across the country and rendered meritorious service.

    A peerless beauty with skin fair like the jade and a face gorgeous like the flower. Refined and cultured, she was endowed with both wit and good looks.
    Originally the wife of Yuan Xi, the second son of Yuan Shao. When Cao Cao's forces occupied Jizhou, Cao Pi was so entranced by her beauty that he married her later. An elegant beauty in that turbulent era.

    Her whole family was executed by Ma Chao. She came to Cao Cao's service as a strategist and fought in various conflicts with Ma Chao.
    As recorded in historical documents, when Ma Chao attacked Jicheng, Wang Yi donned a battledress and assisted in defending the city from Ma Chao's forces. She also handed out her personal accessories as rewards to the soldiers and substantially raised the defenders' morale. She later successfully plotted with Yang Fu and others to drive Ma Chao out of Liang Province.

    She was captured by the Huns when China entered a period of chaos and lived as a prisoner on the northern lands until Cao Cao paid a heavy ransom for her release. Behind her gentle and pitiful appearance was an intelligent and strong heart.

    A Shu general, who formally served Yuan Shao and Gongsun Zan before coming to Liu Bei's service. Known for his heroic spirit.
    During the Battle of Changban, he braved danger by fighting his way through enemy lines seven times in search of Liu Bei's infant son Liu Shan. He accompanied his lord on most of his military exploits and rendered meritorious service. He was lauded as a member of the Five Tiger Generals.

    A descendant of Liu Sheng, Prince Jing of Zhongshan of the Eastern Han dynasty. During the Yellow Turban Rebellion, he joined the volunteer army with his sworn brothers Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. After fighting in different areas, he finally got Shu land and established the regime of Shu Han, forming the general trend of The Three Kingdoms. He was charitable and generous, and wanted to bring prosperity back to the Han Dynasty and unify the whole country.

    A general of Shu, the leader of the Five Tiger Generals. He swore oath of brotherhood with Liu Bei and Zhang Fei, and was committed to the establishment of Shu.
    Valiant and righteous, widely known for his exceptional martial prowess, which was appraised as "enemy of ten-thousand". He was given the title "Lord of the Magnificent Beard" by Emperor Xian of Han for his peerless beard. And the name was passed down.

    A Shu general. He was a son of Guan Ding, a farmer in Hebei. Guan Yu was so impressed with Guan Ping on first sight that he accepted him as his foster son. He followed Guan Yu into many military campaigns and rendered meritorious service.
    He was relocated to Jingzhou to join his foster father in defending Liu Bei's territories after the warlord's seizure of Shu. Later, Jingzhou fell under attack by Wei and Wu armies on both sides. He stood by Guan Yu and fought fearlessly against the enemy.mengalahkan musuh.

    Prime Minister of Shu, also known as the Crouching Dragon, he was recognized as the most accomplished strategist of his era. Liu Bei succeeded in recruiting him after paying three personal visits. He was best known for the Longzhong Plan, which formed the basis of the establishment of the Three Kingdoms period. Liu Bei gave Zhuge Liang the utmost trust, he even compared their relationship with the one between fish and water. In return, Zhuge Liang played his role in many aspects, such as diplomacy and politics. With deference and prudence, he served Shu to the state of his depletion and was credited for his contribution to the founding of the state.

    A general of Shu, who was good at using bows. He served Liu Biao and Han Xuan first.
    When he was Han Xuan's subordinate, he had fought with Guan Yu. Then he came to serve Liu Bei and made a lot of contributions, especially at Yizhou and the Battle of Mount Dingjun.     During his service under Liu Yao, he once engaged Sun Ce in a one-on-one fight and neither combatant had the advantage. Following Liu Yao's defeat, Taishi Ci was captured by Sun Ce's forces. Touched by Sun Ce's sincerity and generosity towards him, Taishi Ci agreed to serve the state of Sun Wu.

    The founder of the state of Eastern Wu and the second son of Sun Jian. When his brother was assassinated, he inherited control of the established warlord regime.
    Sun Ce once remarked, "For manipulating the might of Wu so as to make it the deciding force among the factions and then obtaining the whole empire, you are not so suited as I. But in encouraging the wise and confiding in the able and getting the best out of everyone for the preservation of this land, I should not succeed as you will." He later joined forces with Liu Bei against Cao Cao, which eventually led into the era of the Three Kingdoms.

    Allegedly a descendant of Sun Tzu, he defeated a band of pirates in his youth and his name henceforth spread. He rendered meritorious service during the Yellow Turban Rebellion and was appointed as the Administrator of Changsha Governor in recognition of his contribution. He led the vanguard during the campaign against Dong Zhuo and pressed his troops into the capital Luoyang, where he found the Imperial Seal in a well and kept it in his base. He was often referred to as the Fierce Tiger of Jiangdong.

    The second daughter of a certain Elder Qiao from Wan County and the wife of the Wu general Zhou Yu.
    Good looking, known as the Two Qiaos together with her elder sister Da Qiao, a national beauty. Zhuge Liang pointed out Cao Cao's desire to have the Qiaos. Enraged Zhou Yu hardened his decision to join forces with Liu Bei against Cao Cao, which would lead to the Battle of Red Cliffs.

    In the Battle of Red Cliffs, he and Zhou Yu performed the "Self-torture Ruse". After Zhou Yu beat him a hundred times, he pretended to surrender to Cao Cao and then set fire to the ships of Wei army when Cao Cao was unprepared, thus brought victory to Wu.

    He started off as a military general in the state of Cao Wei but later defected to Shu. A son of Xiahou Yuan.
    With Sima Yi's recommendation, he joined the battle against Shu. After the Sima clan seized control of the Wei court, he defected to Shu for safety and was put in important positions. Under Jiang Wei's command, he participated in Shu's Northern Expedition against Wei.

    Wei General of Chariots and Cavalry, valiant and resourceful but frail suffering from a chronic cough. Yet this never stopped his meritorious service in battle. After Xiahou Yuan's death, he expressed support for Zhang He to be the new commander, who assumed the role and restored stability in his forces. He resisted multiple invasions by Shu Han, extremely loyal to Wei.

    The second-born son of Sima Yi, he capably maintained control of Wei with his older brother Sima Shi.
    After his brother's death, he succeeded the position of General-in-Chief and seized control of Wei. He launched an invasion against the rival state of Shu and put Zhong Hui and Deng Ai in charge of the forces, which eventually managed to convince its emperor, Liu Shan, towards formally surrendering. This helped to set up the plot of overthrowing Wei and establishing the Jin dynasty with himself as its king.

After the collapse of the coalition, he took Jizhou from Han Fu using a plot and later completely defeated Gongsun Zan, holding absolute control over the provinces north of the Yellow River and reaching the peak of his power.
